Ramaphosa"s Cabinet not hepful to youth issues

This article discusses  the African National Congress national executive committee member and former ANC Youth League deputy president Ronald Lamola that says  an increasingly youthful country cannot continue to be served by leaders who are not able to relate to their challenges.
He delivered a speech making a rough framework to the public  on the issue of land and expropriation without compensation.

Lamola said he agreed with the current youth league's criticism that young people had been completely not taken into account  in President Cyril Ramaphosa's recent Cabinet reshuffle.
He said youth challenges cannot be solved because they do not have youthful people that address the issues that relate to the youth.
The NEC and national working committee member said although the Cabinet changes were "not helpful to a youthful nation", he appreciated that Ramaphosa's reshuffle was a balancing act.

I agree with the statement that the President cabinet only favours old people that is why the Youth issues are are being unsolved. Youth people can play big role if they can be included because the are more educated of which education play much important role because now the times has been changed a lot; but the outlook of the older generation is still remain the same so it has to be changed.

Young leaders have more information and they can improve the economy of the country because they have the potential to hold and manage the upcoming generation.

  1. It is one of the reasons why the youth is unemployed whilst very educated.

We need our chance to change the world.

  2. I couldn't agree more with Lamola. We cant have a youthful nation with youthful challenges and then not have youthful people to address these issues.
Mr President could have done better than this,I am disappointed and concerned about our future as the youth of this county.

  3. South Africa should try something new, for example should deploy young people in the governance because they have fresh mind and in my own opinion i believe they can take this country to a better place, they are the one who can really deliver than those corrupt ministers who are old and there in the cabinet just for their own benefits. This generation we are in today can make things happen if only they could be given a chance to deliver.

  6. They must really give youth a chance because old people think they know a lot which is not the case.

  7. This is very true. The cabinet should be filled with young people who understand and relate to the struggle of the youth in this country. The cabinet really needs to bring out fresh faces.
